Cleaning Whole Crab
1 In most cases, the king crab you purchase has already been cooked by your processor. The majority of the Alaska crab is cooked and blast frozen to secure its prized taste. Preparing king crab is usually just a matter of using your preferred reheating methods.
2 If buying frozen crab legs, thawing them is the first thing you need to do. We recommend thawing king crab overnight in your refrigerator. If you’re in a big hurry, king crab can be thawed under cold running water to speed this up. Try bending the crab legs at their joints or slightly squeezing the middle of the merus section to make sure the king crab legs have thawed.
3 As you might have guessed, there’re a variety of ways to reheat king crab. Steaming, boiling and baking are among the most common. With these methods king crab only takes only four to eight minutes to reheat. Keep in mind that unless you have purchased a live king crab, the crab legs in front of you have already been cooked. Be careful not to overcook your king crab as it will reduce the prized texture and taste. And we don’t want that.
4 There are scores of recipes to use king crab in. From soups to main entrees to salads. All of these are very delicious and satisfying.
Serving King Crab Legs
5 King crab can be served in a variety of ways. Most commonly it is served accompanied by a dish of hot melted butter to dip the succulent crab meat into. This simple preparation will impress anyone you’re serving king crab to. Sometimes it’s good to add just a pinch of garlic to your melted butter. I’ve also heard that a couple of drops of Tabasco in the butter can be very complimentary to the rich taste of king crab.
6 King crab meat is usually served within its own natural shell. People have used nut crackers, knives, and even hammers to break the shell and grasp the rewards within. I have found that using a fork can work very well. By inserting one fork tine into the end of the crab leg, then working the fork up the length of the shell, you can open the leg and extract the succulent meat within with ease. We also sell handy little crab shelling tools.
7 Having your king crab legs split before serving them is another great way to serve king crab. This allows for very easy access to the crab meat yet takes away from work of having to shuck them yourself. Finding split king crab can be hard though. You may want to look for a local seafood retailer that can split the crab for you.
8 And so you’re off…to find some excellent king crab, prepare with care, and serve up a meal fit for a king. The aroma of hot crab and butter rise from the table, everybody’s eyes get big, and you all dig in. With sticky fingers, broken crab shells, piles of napkins, and a variety of utensils piling up around your plate, time passes by without notice. Rarely have you been so satisfied. And without a doubt, you will find yourself lounging on the couch or in a big easy chair after wards relishing the contentment of such a great meal.

If you are looking for a straight forward answer to how to stop craving food – I’d have to say just stop eating in large portions but is this really it?. I have heard and used this line a number of times before, at home at work and while with my friends. Let me spend a few minutes sharing about pure potent herb that stop food cravings.
It is not eating too much that causes food cravings or gaining some weight but it is the choice of food you find yourself eating. If you eat certain types of foods more often may result to heightened levels of cravings and eating another type of food might help them. Yes, there is some good food out there that can really help you get over your deadly habit. Let me make an example here, if you need to stop them, consider taking b-vitamin complex (B vitamins). By taking these vitamins you can be sure of a controlled break down of food in your body i.e. b-vitamins help in the metabolism of carbohydrates into sugar glucose that is simpler. You can find these B-complex vitamins in various food such as in rice, liver, meats, whole-grain cereals fruits, fish, milk, leafy green vegetables and eggs.
Chemical imbalances in our body aggravate cravings for food and so by eating the right foods with the right nutrients will enable your body to access the necessary ingredients to help it function normally and be in a position to control the chemical orientation in your body. This information is also relevant to premenstrual women and can be helpful if you are looking for best foods for PMS.
This is why you will often come across commercial that promote weight loss programs saying you do not have to cut back on your eating habits. The product developers basically create some anti depressants that enables the creation of some certain resources that your body needs in order to stay free from cracing food and also keep the body in a good state. They clearly have researches and discovered all the necessary resources to keeping you feeling healthy, find eating desiresand shed some baggage without changing much on your eating patterns.
Although I do believe in the science of the antidepressants, I am not, however, a huge fan as they may have some side effects for some people such a irritability, nausea, to name just a few. Personally I am a huge fan of natural remedies and cures and you can do this by understanding the body’s chemical make-up and then stay balanced by taking all the necessary foods.
I hope so far you can relate even if you are looking for tips on how to stop pms cravings
You don’t have to pay a cent to gain control of your eating habits. For example, when it comes to best foods for pms, I often tell people to take stock and do the following, becareful of the things or emotions that trigger the food desires, you can also improve your mood by excercising, each time you feel a bit hungry or just desiring food just drink a glass of water also try to find other replacements for what you eat e.g. sugar less chocolates.

I'm very interested in hearing about all the (non-glamorized, nitty gritty and true) aspects of kitchen work, from dishwasher to pastry chef to master chef and anything in between. It doesn't have to be at a four star restaurant either, it can be a coffee shop, diner, bar and grill etc. however, no fast food places please.
I worked in a seafood restaurant. The kitchen is very hot, especially if you have deep fryers or grills on, sometimes both at the same time. It is really cramped. There is alot of pressure to make the food right and come out quickly, if not, then the waiter will not get tipped. and most of the time, you dont ever see tips working in the kitchen anyway. Every Job in the kitchen is hard. I have worked them all since the restaurant is more of like family owned. It can be stressful, but also very fun if you have a good team. time flies when you work in a kitchen.
